The Rands fell in love with Amish Furniture over 15 years ago when they bought their first piece. At the time, Brian was in telecommunications, and Michelle was a nurse. Their love of the furniture pieces and appreciation for the people who create them continued to draw, until one day, in 2014, they decided to open a family owned and operated Amish Furniture store of their own in Rochester, Minnesota. With an amazing product lineup, excellent customer service, and consistent local advertising, the business has continued to grow. (See the billboard picture below.) They are building a brand-new store that will be opening this summer. They are looking forward to more space, more efficiency, and a larger showroom.
Selling great furniture has become a passion for the Rands. And like the hand-built, made-to-order nature of each piece they sell, each of their customers has a story too. This is their favorite part of the business. The most touching experience was with a customer for whom they have built many furniture pieces over the years. Though ill, he dropped by Deutsch Furniture Haus and asked them to create another piece for him. He never got to see the final creation come to life.
When asked which Townline piece they like the best, Michelle replies, “All of them! Each piece has a different style, just like our customers. There are several modern styles and trendy stain colors. It’s great to know that no matter which style our customers go with, they are making timeless, lasting choices they will always love.” She went on to say, “Townline is our #1 builder for Hutches and Buffets. They go the extra mile when you need them to. We are 110% happy we chose them as a supplier. They are much more than furniture builders; they are a part of our family!”
